Fulfilling our Mission
To fulfill our mission, the National Center on Protection Orders and Full Faith & Credit provides assistance through consultation, written materials and training on: implementation and enforcement of the full faith and credit provision, enhancing enforcement of federal and state firearm prohibitions related to domestic violence, federal domestic violence and stalking crimes, and promoting enforcement of custody provisions within protection orders.
Constituents include law enforcement, prosecutors, the defense bar, judges, court administrators and other court personnel, civil attorneys, victim advocates, and other professionals who work with victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. NCPOFFC also provides technical assistance to victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking.
