Military/Civilian Coordinated Community Response

BWJP provides consultation, strategic planning, and training to Grants to Encourage Arrest Program grantees that have included the need to either initiate or enhance a Military/Civilian Coordinated Community Response to intimate partner violence as part of their project. BWJP provides these same services to interested civilian advocacy organizations, units of government, and military installations that request assistance. BWJP will work with key personnel in each community to identify the causes of problems or issues related to their systemic or institutional responses. Read the demonstration project report Collaborating for Safety: Coordinating the Military and Civilian Response to Domestic Violence Elements and Tools.

Glenna Tinney, BWJP’s Military Advocacy Program Coordinator, is available to provide technical assistance. She can be reached via email at gtinney@bwjp.org or by phone at 1-703-822-8118 (direct number) or 1-800-903-0111 x 1 then x 258 (voicemail).
