The staff of BWJP’s National Child Custody Project are involved in the following activities:
  • Multidisciplinary and profession-specific training of family court practitioners on national, state, regional, local and agency levels.
  • Partnering in the Family Court Enhancement Project, in association with the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges, to implement the framework in four communities: Multnomah County, OR; Cook County, IL; Hennepin County, MN; the State of Delaware. This project is supported by the Office on Violence Against Women, DOJ.
  • Participating on a task force of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts which is drafting Domestic Abuse Guidelines for Child Custody Evaluators
