The webinar explored some recent incidents of sexual harassment by law enforcement employees and the consequences of those behaviors. Additionally, there was a discussion on the necessity of a clearly written and defined policy for law enforcement agencies on the issue of sexual harassment and avoiding a reliance on law as policy. This presentation is based on the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission definition. However, it’s more specifically on the accepted definition of Sexual Harassment taking into consideration that the legal definition differs by jurisdiction.
