Videoconferencing Services

BWJP's Criminal and Civil Justice Office is now offering videoconferencing services to organizations in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, with special rates for non-profits.  For more information, please click on the links below:

Equipment available:

• Tandberg 880 Bundle with large-screen display

• Wide Angle View Camera (WAVE II)

• Split screen capacity for up to three sites or PCs (extra lines possible at additional cost; please ask)

• Table-top microphone

• Private meeting room

Video-Conferencing Network/Connection Speed:

• ISDN, 384k

• Standard encryption

Available Support:

• Test connection several days before event

• Establish connection half an hour before event

• Provide tech support as needed

Fees:

• $50 set-up fee

• Non-profits and government agencies: $100/hr; for-profits: $150/hr

• $15/hour for interstate calls, $20/hour for intrastate (MN) calls

• Cost of bridging additional lines, if necessary

Procedures:

• Complete and sign request form no less than two weeks before call

• Provide BWJP with call details (described below) no less than two weeks before call

• Arrive 30 minutes before call for equipment orientation

• Payment required within two weeks of call

• Do not confirm your videoconference until BWJP has notified you that the facility is available on the requested date/time.

Call details:

• Date and time of conference

• Receiving call or dialing out

• Number of sites on call

• Contact name, phone number, and email of tech support at remote site

• Date/time for connectivity test
