This webinar is hosted by the Battered Women's Justice Project and is open to the public.

Dr. Zeoli will discuss the very important findings from her recently published research exploring the relationship between different types of firearms legal prohibitions and reductions in intimate partner homicide rates. This quantitative policy evaluation considered data from forty-five states over thirty-three years, and shows significant correlations between specific prohibitions and a reduction in intimate partner homicide.

Dr. April Zeoli, School of Criminal Justice, Michigan State University. Hosted by David Keck, Project Director, National Center on Domestic Violence and Firearms, BWJP
