FORGE, a national training and technical assistance provider focusing on the intersections of transgender populations and victimization – is conducting a National Baseline Assessment of Shelters on Serving Transgender Survivors.

FORGE is seeking responses from a wide range of agencies who provide emergency shelter and temporary or transitional housing to individuals/families who have experienced domestic violence, intimate partner violence, partner abuse, or other intimate crimes.

The purpose of this assessment is to examine how shelters are currently serving transgender and non-binary survivors, begin to identify best practices, and determine where programs may need additional support to integrate transgender survivors into their housing programs.
