When communities and the military do not work together on their response to intimate partner violence (IPV), gaps exist in the interagency response that victims may fall through and perpetrators can exploit.  An effective Military-Civilian Coordinated Community Response (CCR) can address these issues increasing both safety and accountability. After an overview of the CCR model (i.e., the Duluth Model), this webinar explains what a Military-Civilian CCR is and the process of organizing and building one.  It also discusses the OVW-funded Military-Civilian Coordinated Community Response Demonstration Project and includes an in-depth analysis of the challenges and lessons-learned from the project.
