Critical Issues Forum

July 12 from 2 PM ET to 3 PM ET

Conversations for and by allied professionals on critical issues that impact survivor safety and offender accountability

The National Center on Protection Orders and Full Faith and Credit (NCPOFFC) provides individualized training and technical assistance (TTA) to allied professionals to facilitate the issuance, service, and enforcement of protection orders as well as other related issues.

Every month, NCPOFFC will discuss critical issues and answer questions on protection order practice and other related issues.  These are live events. Participants have the opportunity to connect with peers and NCPOFFC Attorney Advisors to talk about challenges, strategies, emerging issues, promising practices, and more.

In July, NCPOFFC Staff will talk about protection orders and advocacy. If you are an advocate working with domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, or dating violence victims this discussion is for you. We will discuss the pros and cons of protection orders, how they are issued and enforced, as well as intersections with other laws. Bring your questions or submit them in advance. We look forward to you joining us!
