This webinar is hosted by the Battered Women's Justice Project and is open to the public.

In January of 2019, Melissa Scaia and Jon Heath coordinated with researchers to find out if court ordered domestic violence groups should be offered using video conference software (VCS). The researchers were set to release their initial findings and the COVID-19 global pandemic occurred. Sharing their experience become timely for men’s groups around the world who were considering using VCS. Jon and Melissa then pattered with the European Network for the Work with Perpetrators of Domestic Violence to author, ‘Draft Adaptation of the European Network Guidelines for Working Responsibly with Perpetrators of Domestic Violence During the COVID-19 Pandemic for Consideration by United States Perpetrator Programs.” This webinar will describe their experience using VCS for court ordered men’s domestic violence groups, share the researchers findings and a summary of Draft Guidelines for programs in the US during COVID-19.
