This webinar is hosted by the Battered Women's Justice Project and is open to the public.

Content

This webinar will provide an overview of how sexual violence manifests in cyberspace (e.g., non-consensual distribution of pornography, sextortion). Discussion will emphasize how these offenses occur within a broader abusive relationship, but also address stranger-perpetrated events. Finally, we will discuss the impact of these offenses on primary and secondary survivors as well as what service personnel can do to assist survivors.

Presenter

Dr. Shelly Clevenger, Illinois State University
